Corper Davido described as “richest Corper in history”
Popular Nigerian Afropop Musician, David Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido, has been described as the “richest corper in history” following the regal manner of his arrival and reception in camp for service in the mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) scheme.

Davido: “… tying up every loose end”

The description was made today on Twitter by Ifedayo (@Skillz_ifedayo), Davido’s follower on that medium. Ifedayo is one of several Twitter users who reacted to Davido (@iam_Davido) when he wrote: “Arriving at camp today” and accompanied the post with a picture of how he was received by a mammoth crowd of his fellow Youth Corp members.

It would be recalled that Davido made an announcement of his enrollment for NYSC two days ago, with a post on Twitter stating: “Otondo OBO… #NYSC… tying up every loose end”. “Otondo” is a popular name for members of the NYSC scheme. Davido accompanied that announcement with a picture of his pose in NYSC uniform, sitting atop his Bentley car.

NYSC is mandatory for every Nigerian graduate below the age of 30. Davido is in Iyana Ipaja camp, Lagos, to begin his obligations in that regard.

He reportedly graduated from Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State in 2015 with a Second Class Upper degree in music.
